Additional Professional Competencies

Young people must acquire at least 8 additional professional competencies, and two working specialties based on their own choice. At one of the educational bases of the Mining University in Sablino, students can master such additional professional training programs as an operator for oil and gas production, a drilling rig operator, a pipeline worker, and many others. But at the first stage, students will have to hone their skills on training simulators.
The range of additional programs includes courses in technical English, software provisioning used by geologists, mining engineers, and oil workers, acquiring additional knowledge in the field of laser optoelectronic technologies, control and measuring instruments, and even advanced rhetoric classes, necessary for competently justifying their position.
In total, the university has prepared more than 200 additional professional competency programs.
